I am an active member of the newly formed "Upper Ridge Community Council", a voice for Magalia to Butte Meadows. We have monthly meetings for the public to attend and ask questions or give ideas on what is important in your part of the community. It is a time for us to see what the community needs are and address them as best we can as a community.
- Magalia Pines Baptist Church providing HOT breakfast and lunch at 14098 Skyway, Magalia CA, they also have a clothes closet and some re-entry resources ask Debra Crowder, Duane, or any of the lovely volunteers helping there.
- Magalia Community Church in Old Magalia on OLD Skyway, is offering commodities once a month still and also has a limited clothes closet and food bank with some re-entry resources as well. Accepting donations, Ask for Pastor Kevin Linstrom. " Angels Among Us ", is still stationed there as well providing hot meals and resources and accepting donations.
- Upper Ridge seventh Day Adventist Church 15402 Skyway, Magalia has resumed community services on Thursdays from 10 am to Noon. They have a clothes closet and limited commodities.
- FREE fire wood for home bound seniors, disabled, and anyone living up here not in the position to get it themselves. Will have to qualify for delivery through phone contact. LIMITED, Contact through this page to get qualified for a delivery of a $120 truck load of mixed soft wood available for free, need to pick up if have own truck and unloading ability.
